CHAMPAIGN, ILL. - The Saint Peter's women's basketball team (1-2) fell at Illinois (2-1) Wednesday Afternoon.
Jada Leondard led the Peacocks with 7 points. Jada Williams scored 6 points with 4 rebounds. Maya Hyacienth had a layup following up with another 2 points. Freshman Emily O'Connell stepped foot on the court for the first time today as a Peacock.
Leonard went 3-5 FG and Layla Laws went 2-4 on FT. Laws, Kuhl and Hyacienth each scored 4 points. Laws and Williams carried the team this afternoon in rebounds, having a total of 4. Cary's Roy scored her first point as a Saint Peters Peacock.
The Peacocks head to Milwaukee on Sunday, November 19th against Marquette University. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m
