Baltimore, Md.- The Saint Peter's University Swimming and Diving team split on combined scores with University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) and Manhattan College in a tri-meet at the UMBC Aquatic Complex on Saturday afternoon.
Meet Notes
- In the combined scores, Saint Peter's outscored Manhattan, 240-230. Saint Peter's fell to UMBC, 371-127, in the combined tallies.
- On the men's side, Saint Peter's lost to UMBC, 170-90. In the head-to-head against the Jaspers, the Peacocks cruised to a 180-68 victory.
- The women's team lost both head-to-head competitions against UMBC and Manhattan. UMBC defeated Saint Peter's, 201-37. Manhattan secured a 162-60 win over the women's team.
- In the men's 200-yard freestyle, Ashton Smith won the heat with a one-minute, 45-second finals time.
- Smith also claimed the top spot in the men's 100-yard freestyle with a 48.28-second finals time.
