EDISON, N.J. – The Saint Peter's swimming and diving teams earned ten selections to the 2023 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Academic Team, the conference announced on Tuesday.
A total of 81 male and 104 female student-athletes were named to both the men's and women's swimming and diving teams, respectively. To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
The five honorees from the men's team include graduate student Juan Montes (Accounting) and seniors Brian Coughlin (Accounting), Justin Funari (Business Management), Brendan Vieira (Business Management), and Luke Cillie (Accounting).
The five honorees from the women's team include graduate student Natalie Davis (Forensic Psycology), seniors NoElle Sprenkle (Marketing Management) and Alexandra Gamero (Elementary Education), sophomore Jessica Guarrera (Nursing), and redshirt freshman Cassidy Mulligan (Forensic Psycology).
