STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.- Saint Peter's University softball senior
Cara McNulty (Middletown, N.J.) drove in six runs as the Peacocks swept a non-conference twin bill against Wagner College. Saint Peter's won the opener 5-3 and took the nightcap 12-1 in five innings.
The Peacocks improve to 16-7 overall, while the Seahawks fall to 5-15.
In the opener, McNulty went 4-for-4 with two runs scored and three RBI. She singled in two runs in the first inning to put the Peacocks ahead 2-0. McNulty added a run scoring triple in the fifth, while sophomore

Palmer tossed a complete game, allowing one run on four hits, striking out one to improve to 3-2.
The Peacocks open Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play as they travel to Siena College for a doubleheader on Monday April 3 at noon.
