JERSEY CITY, NJ. - Nick Sheehy has been named as the new Assistant Athletics Director for Strategic Communications, Director of Athletics Rachelle Paul announced today.
Sheehy served as an Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant at Palm Beach Atlantic University for the past two years. During his time in West Palm Beach, he was the primary contact for four athletic teams, which consisted of women's soccer, men's lacrosse, men's tennis, and women's tennis. Sheehy wrote game recaps, press releases, recorded statistics, and created content for social media.
"I'm very blessed to be working at Saint Peter's," Sheehy said. "I would like to thank Rachelle Paul, John Tagliaferri, and Rich Behan for this opportunity. I'm ready to contribute to the Peacocks community and help provide the best student-athlete experience for our student-athletes."
Additionally, Sheehy earned his bachelor's degree in Sports Journalism from Arizona State University, where he was also an intern in the Athletic Department. Sheehy, a New Jersey native resides in Middletown.
