Jersey City, N.J.- The Saint Peter's University baseball team has announced the addition of 33 new players to the program for the upcoming baseball season. Saint Peter's head baseball coach Grant Neary detailed the incoming recruiting class.
"I'm excited to unveil our 33-player recruiting class for the 2023-24 season. We've not only added quantity but also high-quality players to our program as demonstrated by the number of accolades these incoming players achieved in their playing careers thus far. I cannot wait for these players to arrive in Chilltown for the start of fall practice," Neary said

Incoming JUCO Transfers Include:
Joe Lomangino: First Team All-GSAC and Second Team All-Region 19 at Brookdale CC.
Sam Tanous: Second Team All Region 21 @ Massasoit CC.
Alex Manent: 13 HR's/52 RBI as a freshman at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.
Ryan Dacey: Third Team All-Region 19 Bergen CC and 2023 Metro Collegiate Baseball League MVP.
Tyler Cotten: First Team JUCO All-American and First Team All-Region 10 at Paul Camp CC.
David Delgadillo: Second Team All-Western State South Conference at Bakersfield College.
Camdyn Martindale: 6-2/4.75 ERA as a freshman at Centralia College.
Brendon Wilson: .315/7 HR's/34 RBI at Waubonsee CC and 2023 Dairy Collegiate League All-Star.
John Wade: First Team All-Region 19 at Brookdale CC.
Incoming Grad Transfer:
John Son: Grad Transfer from Utica University; 2023 1st Team All Empire 8 and 2021 2nd Team All Empire 8.
Incoming Four-Year Transfers Include:
Ashby Vining: Transfer Catcher from Coker College playing in 76 games in two years; hit .347 for the Lexington Bluefish, the 2023 Coastal Plains League Champs.
Logan Baker: Transfer Infielder from St. John's; Hit .313 with two home runs, one triple, seven doubles and 16 RBIs in 2022 at East Central College helping the Falcons to its first regional appearance in 20 years.
Logan Wenzel: Transfer from Central Connecticut State; played in 2023 Columbia Regional at University of South Carolina.
Kurt Thomas: Transfer from Central Connecticut State; played in 2023 Columbia Regional at University of South Carolina.
Dom Morabito: Transfer from Dominican University; hit .286 in 2023 and hit .342 in 2022 at UCONN Avery Point while stealing 16 of 16 bases.
Incoming Freshmen Include:
Pitchers: Jarred Jackette (2022 All Section 1 selection), Yash Jain (2023 Georgia Dugout Club All-State Selection), Christopher Blanco (Perfect Game All-American), Linden Reaburn (San-Tan All-Region Selection), Mason Williams (2023 South Carolina 4A Diamond Prospects All State Selection and North-South All Star) and Hansel Pascual Richardson.
Two Way Players: Jonny Gilligan (First All-State Newark Star Ledger), Drew DelCollo (Two-time All Ches-Mont League Selection), Joji Sakata (2023 CIF Southern Player of the Year) and Mike Cassels (2023 All Essex County Selection).
Catchers: Jace Gilligan (Three-time All County, All Conference and All Group Three Selection) and Tyler Giordano (2023 First Team All-Non Public Newark Star Ledger).
Infielders: Landon Harwell, Sean Martinez and Jake Perlowitz (Top 100 Player on Long Island)
Outfielders: Jake Daily (Two-time All Metro League Selection), Tommy Bressmer (PSAA League MVP) and Anthony Mancini (Two-time All Hudson County Selection).
