Jersey City, N.J.- The Saint Peter's University men's soccer team lost to Siena College, 3-1, on Saturday afternoon.
Game Notes
- The Peacocks kept the game close until the start of the second half when Siena closed out the game.
- Zach Gardner opened the scoring with a goal in the 17th minute for Siena.
- Following a corner kick, Saint Peter's tied the game with a header from Tom Climpson in the 27th minute. Lex Vaughan, who took the corner kick, was credited with the assist on the goal.
- Four minutes into the second half, Siena's Jasper Paez retained his team's lead with a goal.
- That lead was extended to two goals, 3-1, after Carl Merlin scored in the 63rd minute.
