Austin-Burrows Recorded Two Top-Five Finishes at NJIT Invitational

NEWARK, N.J.- Saint Peter's University Swimming & Diving finished third overall at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) Invitational.

Meet Notes
  • Saint Peter's competed against NJIT, Howard University, and University of Vermont on Friday and Saturday at the two-day invitational.
  • The Peacocks finished third in both men's and women's team rankings.  
  • On the men's side, Saint Peter's scored 431 overall.  
  • NJIT won the men's invitational with a total score of 1289.5.  
  • The women's swimming & diving team scored 359 overall.  
  • Victor Fuentes placed third in the Men's 100-Yard Breaststroke heat.
  • In the Women's 200-Yard IM and Women's 400-Yard IM, Paige Austin-Burrows scored a top five finish with a finals time of 2:13.61.  
  • Austin-Burrows also came in sixth place in the Women's 200-Yard Backstroke and Breaststroke.
  • Juan Nunez and Austin Arnold shared a 10th-place finish in the Men's 200-Yard IM. In that heat, Mathis Ducci finished right behind Nunez and Arnold in 12th place.
