JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Saint Peter's volleyball's

Maliyah Labrie and
Penelope Rivera were named to the Academic All-District team as announced by College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday. Academic All-District honors are a representation of the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
Bilhartz, a junior middle blocker/outside hitter, is an international business major from Round Rock, Texas. This season, she recorded 116 total kills while averaging 1.27 kills per set along with 10 aces at the service line. Bilhartz played in all 25 matches for the Peacocks this year while starting in 22 of them, and led the team in attack percentage with a mark of .260. On the front row, she tallied a team-high 86 blocks to average 0.95 blocks/set which ranked seventh overall in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).
Labrie, a sophomore outside hitter, is a business major from Riverside, Calif. She led the Peacocks in kills with 262 as well as aces with 32. Appearing in 82 sets throughout the season, Labrie averaged 3.2 kills per set for the fifth-highest average among all MAAC athletes. She added 84 digs and 30 total blocks on the receiving end this year.
Rivera, a senior outside hitter, is a sociology major from San Juan, Puerto Rico. She ranked second on the team in kills with 245, trailing Labrie by just 17. Rivera also had the fourth most aces on the team with 20 while playing and starting in every match for Saint Peter's this season. Defensively, she was one of the Peacocks' primary pieces, recording 120 digs and 50 total blocks.
The Academic All-America teams will be announced by CSC at 12 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025.
