Geneva, OH- Saint Peter's Swimming & Diving wrapped up the 2024 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving Championships.
Championship Notes
- Marist won the MAAC Men's Swimming & Diving Team Championship, while Niagara came out on top in the MAAC Women's Swimming & Diving Team Championship.
- Saint Peter's Men's Swimming & Diving finished eighth in the MAAC Championships with a total score of 192.5.
- Saint Peter's Women's Swimming & Diving had a 10th-place finish with a team score of 69 points.
- The Peacocks started off the championships slow, but quickly found a rhythm and qualified for the finals in several events.
- On day four, the Peacocks were well-represented in the multiple events.
- Ashton Smith had a fourth-place finish in the men's 100-yard freestyle final.
- Tristan Raso was an eighth-place finisher in the men's 200-yard butterfly heat.
- The women's 200-yard breaststroke heat saw Erin Dall'Agnol land in 10th place for Saint Peter's.
- For the team relays, the women's team placed ninth in the 400-yard freestyle relay race.
- It was an impressive showing at the end of the championship for the Peacocks.
Saint Peter's will look to continue its season at the ECACs in March.
