Edison, N.J.- The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) named Saint Peter's Baseball catcher
Tyler Cotten the MAAC Baseball Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.
In last weekend's series at Coppin State University, Cotten recorded three home runs, eight RBIs, eight hits, and three doubles. Cotten had an electric start to the season. Entering Wednesday's game against Fordham, Cotten possesses a .520 batting average, five home runs, 13 RBIs, and 13 hits for the Peacocks.
Cotton, who is in his first season with Saint Peter's, is looking to make an impact at the plate. The MAAC announces weekly awards for baseball, including the Player of the Week.
