RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Saint Peter's Softball team (13-23, 3-8 MAAC) dropped Sunday's series finale 11-3 in five innings at Manhattan (8-30, 5-9 MAAC) at Gaelic Park.

- The Jaspers totaled 11 runs on 14 hits.
- Manhattan scored four runs in the first and second innings on a pair of grand slams. In the bottom of the first inning, Lindsey Hoag hit a grand slam to left center field. In the bottom of the second inning, sophomore Sophia Kiseloski hit a grand slam to center field, and the Jaspers led 8-0.
- Saint Peter tallied three hits in the game and scored three runs in the top of the third inning. Kaylee Lacomb walked, followed by a single to first base from Sydney Orndorff. Maiah Skakal delivered a double to right center field for SPU's first run. With runners on second and third, Cara McNulty brought in a run with a sacrifice fly to center field. Jess Forte hit an RBI single to center field for the Peacocks' third run.
- The Jaspers added two runs at the bottom of the fourth inning and one at the bottom of the fifth. An RBI single from Hoag capped the game at 11-3 through five innings.
The Peacocks have a busy week ahead, with five games on the road. They start with a nonconference doubleheader at Le Moyne (10-24, 3-9 NEC) in Syracuse, New York, on Wednesday, Apr. 17. This is followed by a three-game series at Mount St. Mary's (9-22, 2-8 MAAC) in Emmitsburg, Maryland, over the weekend. The Peacocks and Mountaineers will face off in a doubleheader on Saturday, Apr. 20, and play one game on Sunday, Apr. 21.
