JERSEY CITY, N.J.- Saint Peter's University Director of Athletics
Katie Arcuri has announced the elevation of
Noemie Lacroix-Moreau to Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance effective immediately.
"We are thrilled to elevate Noemie as she has been instrumental to our department over the past two years, especially in the area of compliance and academics," said Arcuri. "She has a conscientious, can-do attitude that is critical to the role of NCAA compliance oversight. Her collaborative mindset, positive energy and work ethic will serve her well internally and with our campus partners. We are lucky to have her on the Peacock team."
Lacroix-Moreau joined the Peacocks athletics staff in June 2022 as the Coordinator of Student-Athlete Development and Leadership and most recently held the position of Director of Student-Athlete Academic Support within the department. In her role, she oversaw academic advising, life skills and leadership programming, while assisting with compliance items for the entire athletics department. In her first year, she served as the advisor for the Peacocks Student Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.).
Lacroix-Moreau said, "I am grateful for the opportunity to step into this new role within Saint Peter's Athletics. Lacroix-Moreau previously worked as a Graduate Assistant for Compliance and Academics at Wagner College. While at Wagner, Lacroix-Moreau assisted with SAAC while also coordinating tutoring and study hall sessions for student-athletes. She also provided academic support and guidance and served on the Diversity Education and Inclusion Committee.
Prior to working with the Seahawks, Lacroix-Moreau attended Long Island University where she was a standout student-athlete with the Sharks' swim team, serving as a team captain while winning the Claire Isicson-Merle Athletic Excellence Award, presented to the student-athlete who best exemplifies leadership, sportsmanship and achievement.
A native of Montreal, Canada, Lacroix-Moreau graduated from Wagner in 2022 with her Master's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing and achieved her Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from LIU in 2020.
