EDISON, N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has reached regional television agreements with both SportsNet New York (SNY) and New England Sports Network (NESN) to air 18 combined MAAC men's and women's basketball games on linear television during the 2025-26 season.
Through agreements with NESN and SNY, MAAC Hoops will be showcased on two of the nation's top-rated regional sports networks in the country's No. 1 and No. 9 media markets, extending the conference's reach to an estimated 13 million homes. SNY reaches approximately nine million households across New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Northeastern Pennsylvania, while NESN reaches roughly four million households throughout the six-state New England region, including Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.
"These partnerships give MAAC basketball an unprecedented level of exposure across the biggest media markets in the country," said MAAC Commissioner Travis Tellitocci. "Reaching more than 13 million homes through SNY and NESN ensures that our student-athletes and programs are showcased throughout New York, New Jersey, New England, and beyond. We are thrilled to bring MAAC hoops to fans across the Northeast and to continue expanding our presence on platforms that deliver meaningful visibility for our institutions."
Across the two networks, fans will enjoy 18 MAAC basketball broadcasts this season, 17 of which are conference matchups. The three-month slate is evenly divided between men's and women's contests, and 11 of the league's 13 institutions will be featured.
As part of the Conference's multi-year agreement with ESPN, every televised game will also be simulcast live nationwide on ESPN+ and accessible through the ESPN app with no digital blackouts. All broadcasts will be produced by the host institution's campus production team.
