Urbana, Md.- Saint Peter's Golf finished 16th at the Carpetbagger Classic at the Worthington Manor Golf Club.
Mount St. Mary's University was atop the leaderboard through the two-round tournament. Gettysburg College and Howard University rounded out the top three teams.
The Peacocks used five golfers in the classic.
Jeffery Yong paced the Peacocks tied for 50
th place in the individual leaderboard. Yong scored +10 in the first round and followed that up with an economic +1 score in round two. He made a steep improvement from round to round.
Saint Peter's Golf Head Coach Jim Stefankiewicz discussed the difficulties his team faced through the two-day tournament.
"Saturday was not our best day. The guys really battled through some incredibly windy conditions. We improved our team score by 26 strokes on Sunday. Im really proud of how our golfers faught back on day two," said Coach Stefankiewicz.
Antonio Conde Ortega came in a three-way tie for 63
rd overall with a +13 finish.

Shiv Manhas, and
Nick Campanella also competed at the two-day classic.
