JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Saint Peter's women's basketball players Louella Allana, Laila Grant and Nikola Zdenkova have been named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, CSC announced on Tuesday.
The Academic All-District Women's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined excellence on the court and in the classroom.
Allana, a 5'4" guard from Laval, Quebec, Canada, is a junior studying psychology. She was a crucial playmaker for Saint Peter's, playing in all 30 games and starting each one. Allana wrapped up the season with 125 points, 82 rebounds, 170 assists, and 42 steals while leading the team in minutes, averaging 36.5 per game.
Grant, a 5'8" guard from Derwood, Maryland, is a graduate student pursuing her MBA. She played a key role for the Peacocks this season, appearing in 30 games with 28 starts. Grant finished the year with 234 points, 95 rebounds, and 23 steals while averaging 31.9 minutes per game.
Zdenkova, a 5'9" guard from Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, is a redshirt sophomore majoring in business. She was a consistent presence on the court, playing in 30 games and starting 29. Zdenkova tallied 186 points, 30 rebounds, and nine steals, averaging 30.6 minutes per game.
