HACKENSACK, N.J.- Saint Peter's Softball split Wednesday night's doubleheader with FDU.
After falling in the first game, the Peacocks responded with a come-from-behind win in the second half of the doubleheader.
Game One Recap
Across the first three innings, the Knights scored a combined seven runs, which put the Peacocks in a steep hole. FDU went on to capture a 10-4 win over Saint Peter's.

Tai Turner, and
Dakota Pitts had one RBI each in the fifth inning.
Pitts finished the first game with three hits. Starting pitcher
Ava White came up on the losing end of the pitching decision for Saint Peter's.
Game Two Recap
The Peacocks were on the verge of losing the second game until the team scored five runs in the sixth inning, which resulted in the 9-5 win. This was a comeback victory that was sparked by
Ashley Murphy's game-tying RBI single to center field.
Olivia Christopher gave the Peacocks the lead with a left field single that brought in the go-ahead run. Pitts and Turner tacked on three more runs for good measure to seal the win.
Brielle Coppola secured the win in the circle for the Peacocks. She pitched six innings, giving up one earned run and recording six strikeouts.
The midweek split brought Saint Peter's record up to 10-30 on the season. This was the final non-conference game of the season for the Peacocks.
