HAMDEN, Conn. – The Saint Peter's men's basketball team (8-6, 5-1 MAAC) travels up to M&T Bank Arena to play the Quinnipiac Bobcats (12-5, 5-1 MAAC) on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. ET. The Peacocks and Bobcats both share the same conference record through their first six MAAC games.
In the Peacocks' 13-point victory over Merrimack on Sunday, Saint Peter's shot 52.1 percent (25-for-48) from the field while outrebounding the Warriors 37-to-26. The Peacocks rank 34th in the nation in offensive rebounds per game, averaging 13.7.
Saint Peter's has vastly utilized its bench each game, as 'strength in numbers' continues to be a theme this season. Head coach
Bashir Mason has played at least 10 players in all but one game this year. In that one game against Niagara, Mason played nine guys.
With the Peacocks' depth and ability to rebound the ball, it will be a tight matchup with the Bobcats Wednesday night.
