HOW IT HAPPENED

SET ONE-

Quinnipiac controlled the score early, with Pruvost and Valeria Pagan Munoz holding down the Bobcats at 3-3.

Both teams would go back and forth with points till Quinnipiac went on a five-kill run, forcing the Peacocks to call their first timeout of the set.

The Bobcats continued to add points, with the set ending at 14-25 in favor of Quinnipiac.

SET TWO-

The Second set would see the Peacocks open the score with a kill from Elina Arsov, followed up with a Bobcat attack error; Saint Peter's would get an early 5-3 lead with Karolina  T. Rodriguez Mendez getting a kill.

Quinnipiac soon responded with a three-point run to take the lead, and they would not let go of the gas with Brianan Tuten and Alondra Fargas making the effort to keep the Peacocks in the set.

As Mendez added two more kills later in the set, it would be a service error that would give the win to Quinnipiac at 22-25

SET THREE-

With Peacocks down 0-2 in sets, as Quinnipiac got the first three points of the match, followed by Pruvost interrupting the run with two more kills, leading to Tuten getting another kill to bring the lead to one point.

SPU applied the pressure as they tried to match every kill that the Bobcats threw at them, with Mendez and Tuten playing huge roles in the comeback effort, but they were unable to take the lead and force a fourth set, with Quinnipiac taking it at 23-25.
