GENEVA, OH– The Saint Peter's swimming and diving programs had 10 athletes selected to the 2026 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Swimming and Diving All-Academic Team, the league office announced Tuesday morning.
A total of 160 student-athletes were selected to the 2026 MAAC Women's Swimming & Diving All-Academic Team, while 95 student-athletes were selected to the Men's All-Academic Team. Saint Peter's had five women and five men make the list.
Sophomores
Paxton Gibson (Business Management),
Paige Austin-Burrows (Political Science/Psychology),
Gwendolyn Mendez (Communications),
Eloise Schirtzinger (Political Science),
Brianna Surichaqui (Biology), juniors
Tristan Raso (Exercise Science),
Francesca Solano Vargas (Political Science), seniors
Daniel Sanchez (Finance/Accounting),
Anthony Torres (International Business), and graduate student
Ashton Smith (Risk Management) were all named to this prestigious list.
Between the 12 teams in the conference, a total of 255 student-athletes were named to the 2026 MAAC Swimming and Diving All-Academic Team. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
