WASHINGTON, D.C.- The Saint Peter's Peacocks struggled against Georgetown in day two of their 4 game series totaling out their record to 0-4.
Despite the struggles the peacocks showed improvement with a total of seven hits and two runs.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: The Peacocks trailed 0-4 heading into the third inning in-which
Luke Schwartz answered back and put Saint Peter's on the board with a home run on top of the third.
Between the bottom of the third and the fourth inning the Hoyas will go on to score 13 unanswered runs.
In the sixth inning
Max Doninger would send a single up the middle putting an RBI on his line and letting
Chase Fogg run home. The Hoyas would answer back with a run of their own and shutting out the Peacocks in the top of the seventh with the game ending 2-18.
GAME TWO: The Peacocks' struggles continued into the second game with the Peacocks recording zero runs but were able to get on base with
Allen Ramos and
Alex Manent recording hits with Ramos getting to second.
The Hoyas go on unanswered for 13 runs being held to zero runs in the fourth inning and the Hoyas will then hold the Peacocks for the rest of the game resulting in a 13 - 0 loss for Saint Peter's.
