BERLIN, MD. - The Saint Peter's men's golf team has completed the first day of the Battle At Rum Pointe hosted by Iona at Rum Pointe Seaside Links.
The Peacocks cap off the first day with a 13th place finish in a three way tie. And three Peacocks left their marks with top 50 finishes. Leading the charge for Saint Peter's is
Mohit Sanagavarapu who was sensational to begin the tournament. Ending the first day ranked tied for 28th place scoring 74, going two over par. Capping off a very strong performance with four birdies, and not scoring a single bogey on the back nine.
Two Peacocks that ended in a tie are
Shiv Manhas and
Chad Maurer, both finished with the exact same placement and score of tying for 35th place and scoring 75, going three over par. Manhas and Maurer both found major success on the front nines and then tapering off slowly, but still maintained a strong consistency on the back nine, combining for six birdies.

The Peacocks will return to the tee box at the Battle at Rum Pointe on Saturday, Mar. 28 for Day Two, teeing off at 10 am ET.
