JERSEY CITY, N.J. - Saint Peter's women's basketball sophomore
De'Naya Rippey has been named to the All-Met Division I Third Team, announced today by the Met Basketball Writers Association.
The Brooklyn, N.Y. native in her second season at Saint Peter's took the leap into superstardom. In 2025-26, she was the catalyst for the Peacocks offense, leading the team in points and rebounds. Offensively, Rippey was near untouchable, with 21 double digit scoring games, including five games scoring over 20 points, and recording seven doubles with points and rebounds. Through her efforts, Rippey added even more hardware to her season total by also being an all conference third team member, capping off the regular season in spectacular fashion with a 30 point performance against Manhattan, becoming her new career high. The season averages for Rippey are 13.4 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.8 steals. All of these were the best on the Peacocks roster for the season.
Joinning Rippey is Gigi Gamble (Monmouth), Fadima Tall (Princeton), Sa'Maya Wyatt (St. John's), and MAAC Member Zoey Ward (Iona) on the Third Team. Here is the full list of players to earn All-Met honors.
