LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL - The Saint Peter's men's golf team will begin the first round of the MAAC Golf Championship Tournament this week, with the first round beginning on Tuesday, Apr. 28 and continuing through to the final round on Thursday, Apr. 30 at Disney's Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista.
The Peacocks on the green have had a very strong spring, with the crew heading down to the tournament being led by
Shiv Manhas who has been a consitant high point for Saint Peter's. Manhas will be joined by veterens
Jeffery Yong and
Jack Hennelly who have found their groove in the ladder part of the spring season. With the vets comes a pair of newcomers for the Peacocks, with the squad being rounded out by
Chad Maurer and
Christopher Hannan, and
Mohit Sanagavarapu joins as the alternate. Maurer and Hannan have been the stars of the spring for Saint Peter's, as Maurer finished the last two tournaments proceeding as the top scorer for the Peacocks, and Hannan who kicked off March in spectacular fashion earning a 15th place finish at the Carpetbagger Classic. Sanagavarapu in particular has been solid, including this season holding the best finish for the Peacocks in a 4th place score at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate Championships.
Last season the Peacocks finished in 13th, with Manhas placing atop for Saint Peter's at 39th place. First tee time is scheduled for 8:00 am ET. For all information regarding the 2026 MAAC Men's Golf Championships, please visit
