114 Peacocks Earn Spots On 2025-26 Metro Academic Honor Roll

EDISON, N.J. – The Metro Conference announced a record 3,838 student-athletes have been named to the 2025-26 Academic Honor Roll, surpassing last year's conference-record total of 3,662 honorees. Saint Peter's had an impressive 114 student-athletes on the list, which is a testament to their hard work and commitment to balancing the busy life of a student-athlete.

Leading the way for the Peacocks was baseball with 22 student-athletes on the list, followed by men's soccer with 17, softball (13), women's soccer (12), women's basketball (9) and women's swimming and diving (9). 

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The honor is open to student-athletes from both full and associate member institutions, with all 24 Metro Conference-sponsored sports represented.
 
Sacred Heart led all conference institutions with a conference-best 501 Academic Honor Roll selections, eclipsing its own total of 438 from a year ago. Marist ranked second with 379 honorees, followed by Merrimack with 328, Iona with 322, and Fairfield with 305 to round out the top five.
 
Among the conference's associate members, Jacksonville led the way with 41 Academic Honor Roll selections. LIU followed with 25 honorees, while La Salle ranked third with 21 student-athletes recognized.
