ATLANTIC CITY, N.J - Junior guard
Bryce Eaton of the Saint Peter's men's basketball team was named to the Preseason All-Metro First Team as a unanimous pick, the Metro Conference announced Wednesday morning.
Preseason All-Metro honors are selected and voted on by the league's 13 head coaches.
Eaton is joined by Abdou Khadre Kebe (Mount St. Mary's), Keith McKnight (Quinnipiac), Declan Wucherpfennig (Fairfield), Kosy Akametu (Iona), Jadin Collins-Roberts (Marist) and Denver Anglin (Merrimack) on the Preseason All-Metro First Team.
In his 2025-26 campaign, Eaton averaged 11.1 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game for the Peacocks as a redshirt sophomore. He was one of the top distributors in the conference and his 4.0 assists per game ranked 5th overall.
Eaton looks to step into more of a leadership role in year three in Jersey City, being one of five returners from the last year's squad to help propel the preseason ranked seventh Peacocks to the Metro Championship.
