Coach's Quotes – Mark Kretzer
  • "The meet got off to a great start with the women's 200 Medley relay posting a time faster than our MAAC Championship time from last year."
  • "The team of Evangelia Vasilakis, Rachel Valentine, Hannah Rye, and Lindsey Hanger was able to garner a first-place finish against Manhattan College."
  • "Lindsey [Hanger] picked up another victory for the team against Mount Saint Mary's in the 50 Yard Freestyle."
  • "The women were competitive in nearly all individual competitions as well, showing that our program is moving in the right direction; this gives us tremendous confidence moving forward with our season."
  • "On the men's side, there were many highlights beginning with rookie Jhonny Perez who took home victories in both the 50 and 100 yard freestyle events, and picking up Pool Record times which also post among the top 100 in the Nation currently."
  • "Another standout performer was Oleksiy Polishchuk, who took 1st place in both the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke events, as well as posting a season best time in the 100 Butterfly."
  • "Perhaps the biggest surprise of the day, was a breakout diving performance from Junior Hunter Cooney, who also swims."
  • "Cooney was able to score 3 points in the 1 Meter diving event, which turned out to be the 3 points needed to edge rival NJIT to complete the 3-0 sweep in today's meet."
  • "I am excited to see where we can go from here as a team, and we are all in a really good place mentally and physically to keep the momentum going into November."
