JERSEY CITY, NJ - Saint Peter's student-athletes spent the month of November giving back to the Hudson County community through various community service projects.
Members of the
men's basketball team went to Hudson Milestones, a day habilitation center for adults that are mentally challenged, and participated in their line dancing event.
The
baseball team hosted a clinic at the Boys & Girls Club of Hudson County.
The
softball team collaborated with Jersey City P.A.L. and hosted a softball clinic for Jersey City youth. Participants went through various drills and also got to take a tour of campus.
The
track and field teams helped prepare food for homeless shelters at the Saint Peter's University Campus Kitchen.
Peacocks in the Community
Saint Peter's Athletics takes pride in representing the Jersey City community on and off the field. Peacocks in the Community allows our student-athletes to give back to the surrounding area by volunteering their services throughout the year.
