On Monday, April 10th, an Etiquette Dinner was organized to help current student-athletes learn the etiquette skills that they need for career networking and job interviews, which often include lunches and dinners. The student-athletes dedicated two hours to be led through a full course dinner by professional etiquette consultant, Thomas P. Farley, better known as Mister Manners. The student-athletes learned the essential etiquette skills (i.e. which form should be used for each meal, how to pass the bread and basket, when is the appropriate time to begin eating, what to do with a napkin when leaving the table). Mister Manners also went over other topics such as the historical background of certain etiquettes and variations by culture as well as networking skills.
