Things to Know Before Wednesday's Game
Series against Wagner
  • Saint Peter's and Wagner will be squaring off in the 52nd all-time meeting since the inaugural contest in 1936-37.
  • The Peacocks have a substantial series lead, holding an all-time record of 35-16 against the Seahawks, which includes a 6-4 mark over the past 10 contests.
  • The two sides have not met in almost a decade, having last played on Dec. 11, 2010 --- a game that ended in a 51-50 road victory for Saint Peter's.
  • The last clash between the duo in Jersey City came on Dec. 12, 2009 and ended in a 59-58 defeat for the Peacocks.

Dominance against the NEC
  • Saint Peter's will meet five Northeast Conference (NEC) opponents in 2019-20. In addition to Wagner, the Peacocks already faced Bryant (11/13) and will meet St. Francis Brooklyn (11/30), Fairleigh Dickinson (12/11), and LIU (12/22) this season.
  • Against the current NEC, Saint Peter's holds an all-time record of 150-89 and the program has an all-time record of .500 or better against 9 of the 11 NEC schools.

Start'Em Young

  • Through two regular season games, five out of the six true freshmen on the roster have appeared in the starting lineup (Doug Edert and Aaron Estrada both started against Bryant).
  • Additionally, of the Peacocks' 10 possible starters thus far in the season, seven total have been underclassmen --- sophomores Majur Majak (at Providence) and Dallas Watson (vs. Bryant) join the freshman group.

Next Up

  • In the interim, the men will travel to Division II member Caldwell University for an Exhibition on Sunday, Nov. 24 at 2 p.m.
