EDISON, NJ - Saint Peter's University women's basketball student-athlete
Briyanah Richardson has been named the Pepsi Zero Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Female Student Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference office today.
Richardson had a strong showing for the Peacocks last week, leading the Peacocks with a team-high 14.5 points per game average against NJIT and Delaware State. The sophomore tallied a season-high 15 points against NJIT on Dec. 4 while shooting an impressive 67 percent from the floor and shooting 50 percent from deep.

Gabrielle Harris led the team with 14 points apiece, while Richardson led the Peacocks with five boards on the day. Through six games, the New Brunswick, New Jersey, native leads the team in minutes per game with 31.8 per outing.
