Swimming & Diving Wraps Up Weekend at the H2ounds Invitational at Loyola

JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Saint Peter's University men's and women's swimming & diving program concluded its busy weekend at the H2ounds Invitational at Loyola on Saturday evening. Several Peacocks walked away with individual victories to wrap up a successful showing at one of the team's biggest events of the season.

Top Performances

• Freshman Luke Cillie was victorious in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 55.50.
• Luke Cillie, Yann Le Gall, Jhonny Perez and Andrew Galarza placed first in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:03.20.
• Junior Marie-Christine Geck grabbed a second-place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 17:32.22 and a fifth-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:09.96.
• Noah Berlin had a time of 4:38.70 in the 500-yard freestyle, putting him in third place for the race.
• In the 200-yard IM, freshman Luke Cillie came in second place with a time of 1:50.21 while junior Martin Le Pays du Teilleul came in fourth place with a time of 1:52.99.
• Jhonny Perez placed fifth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.94.
• The quartet of Luke Cillie, Yann Le Gall, Andrew Galarza and Martin Le Pays du Teilleul earned a third-place effort in the 800-yard freestyle relay with a time of 6:50.68.
• Jhonny Perez, Luke Cillie, Yann Le Gall and Martin Le Pays du Teilleul posted a solid time of 1:23.92 in the 200-yard freestyle relay to finish as runner-up in the event.
• Martin Le Pays du Teilleul had a time of 4:01.30 in the 400-yard IM, putting him in second place for the race.
• In the 200-yard medley relay, Michael Spark, Luke Cillie, Jhonny Perez and Yann Le Gall placed third with a time of 1:32.41.

Both teams will close out the 2019 portion of the calendar year with a dual match at Pace University next weekend.
