Outdoor Track & Field Complete MAAC Championships

The Peacocks finished the MAAC Championships this weekend

WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ - The Saint Peter's men's and women's outdoor track & field teams completed the MAAC Championships this weekend. Joe Egri finished in third place for men's pole vault and Avosuahi Albert, Victoria St. John, Suzenie St. Germain, and Ohunene Albert placed third for the women's 4x100 meter relay.

Day 1:
For The Women:

Iria Paz placed 10th in the women's long jump with a distance of 4.43m.
The women placed ninth overall on Saturday.

For The Men:

Joe Egri placed third with a judge's decision of 4.40 meters.
Ed Collins finished 14th in the men's long jump with a distance of 6.35m.
Michael Spark finished ninth in the men's javelin throw with a final distance of 47.98 meters.
The men's team placed seventh overall on Saturday.

Day 2:
For The Women:

Avosuahi Albert, Victoria St. John, Suzenie St. Germain, and Ohunene Albert placed third for the women's 4x100 meter relay with a combined time of 48.92.
Avosuahi Albert placed fourth in the women's 400 meter dash with a time of 57.97.
Suzenie St. Germain placed sixth in the women's 400 meter hurdles with a final time of 16.10.
Avosuahi Albert, Ohunene Albert, Suzenie St. Germain, and Daija King finished in fifth for the women's 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:03:04.
The women's team placed seventh on Sunday.

For The Men:

Mark Soliman completed the men's 110 meter hurdles finishing in fifth with a time of 16.21.
Rayshawn John finished right after him in the 110 meter hurdles in sixth place with a time of 16.26.
Daniel Jn-Baptiste, Rayshawn Johnson, Shaka Shomari, and Brandon Campbell placed fifth in the men's 4x100 meter relay with a time of 43.62.
Daniel Jn-Baptiste, Rayshawn Johnson, Alex Daoud, and Cedric Martin placed fifth in the men's 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:32.20.
The men's team placed seventh overall on Sunday.
