Making History
- The season-opening home win against Delaware State marked the first time in program history that the women's soccer team secured a season-opening win at home.
- The victory stands as the first season-opening win for the Peacocks since week one of 2009, when the Peacocks defeated Wagner College, 2-0, at Wagner.
Meet the 2019 Peacocks
- Head coach Melissa Sherwood enters her fourth year at the helm of the Saint Peter's women's soccer team.
- For the second season in a row, the Peacocks have 13 letterwinners returning from the previous season. They will look to earn a MAAC Championship berth after narrowly doing so a year ago, when the 2018 squad finished with 10 league points, the most for the program in one season since 1998.
- Junior goalkeeper, Victoria Scarratt, returns after finishing 2018 with the third-most saves in the MAAC with 95.
- Sophomore Brooke Bouchie, a 2018 All-MAAC Rookie Team selection, returns as the Peacocks' top scorer from a year ago. She tallied two caps in 16 games as a freshman last year..
- Kelly Aguilar, Victoria Babcock and Alyssa Conanan make up the trio of seniors that, alongside junior captains Nazae Craw and Isabel Fernandez, will comprise the leadership corps for the Peacocks this fall.
Fresh Faces
- The women's soccer team welcomes six newcomers into the fold this year.
- The Peacocks will welcome two transfer student-athletes to the program, including graduate transfer Noelle DeFede from Mount St. Mary's and sophomore Amber Whitely from Middle Tennessee State.
