BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NY – Following a strong individual performance for the Saint Peter's women's volleyball team, sophomore outside hitter
Alanis Alvarado was selected to the Terrier Classic All-Tournament Team. Alvarado was the lone Peacocks voted to the seven player team at the conclusion of the tournament.
In the three matches for Saint Peter's, Alvarado posted 26 kills, 39 digs, and three block assists, compiling 28.5 total points. She led the Peacocks in kills against Maryland Eastern Shore and Central Michigan, and she recording her first double-double of the season against St. Francis Brooklyn with 10 kills and 19 digs.
Joining Alvarado on the Terrier Classic All-Tournament Team were Wies Hurkmans and
Angelee Ng (St. Francis Brooklyn), Maddie Whitfield and Lisbeth Rosario-Martinez (Central Michigan), Sarah Merritt (NJIT) and Ivana Blazevic (UMES).
Alvarado and the Peacocks resume action next weekend in the Bucknell Invitational on September 6.
