EDISON, NJ – Women's basketball redshirt senior
Kendrea Williams has been named the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Student-Athlete of the Week, as announced by the league office today.
A staple of the Saint Peter's offense in 2019-20, Williams has already made a significant impact heading into her second season playing in the blue and white. Through four games, the redshirt senior has paced the team in scoring twice, including a season-high 19 points against Morgan State on December 5. Most recently, the Piscataway native put up 13 points against Seton Hall on December 8, marking her third double-digit performance of the season. A leader in the classroom as well as on the court, Williams earned a spot on the 2019-20 MAAC Women's Basketball All-Academic Team and will look to repeat the achievement in 2020-21.
Williams and the Peacocks will travel to Western New York this weekend to open conference play at Niagara on Friday, Dec. 11 and Saturday, Dec. 12. Both games will be played at 4 p.m.
