EDISON, NJ - Women's soccer senior goalkeeper
Victoria Scarratt has been named as the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Female Student-Athlete of the Week, as announced by the league office today.
Scarratt is coming off another solid season with the Peacocks, in which she anchored the Saint Peter's defense for the vast majority of 2019. The Montville native appeared in 14 games in 2019, while earning the starting nod in 13 contests. A force in the net, Scarratt ranked first in the league last season in saves per game (7.29), second in saves (102), fourth in save percentage (.802), and eighth in shutouts per game (.143). The +100 save season is the second of its kind in Scarratt's collegiate career, repeating the feat from her freshman year when she registered an impressive 120 saves. 2019 also marked the second consecutive year in which Scarratt was named to the MAAC All-Academic Team.
