HISTORY WITH THE CANISIUS GOLDEN GRIFFINS:
The Peacocks are 3-8-2 all-time against the Golden Griffins. Last season, Saint Peter's lost 1-5 in a road game at Canisius. That game was the Peacocks' largest recorded loss against Canisius.
Saint Peter's has not beaten Canisius since their 2-1 win back in 2021. From 2017 to 2021, the Peacocks were undefeated against the Griffs. Saint Peter's will look to only get back into the win column in conference play, but against Canisius in general.
ABOUT THE CANISIUS GOLDEN GRIFFINS:
The Griffs have not won a game yet in October. Their last win was on Sept. 28 at Iona, where the Griffs won 1-0.
Canisius is coming off a 2-3 heartbreaking loss against upstate New York rival, Niagara. Prior to that loss, the Griffs tied 0-0 at Merrimack, their best outcome since their win at Iona.
The Head Coach of Canisius is Ryan Louis in his sixth season. Before being named Head Coach, Louis was on staff as an assistant coach from 2018 to 2021.
