Dear Friend of Saint Peter's Athletics,
Happy New Year! I hope you are continuing to stay safe and, like all of us in Peacock Athletics, you are looking forward to a healthy and prosperous 2021.
I am happy to report that once again that our student-athletes continue to thrive in the classroom. During another challenging virtual semester, our term GPA was an impressive 3.325! We had 172 student-athletes finish the semester with a 3.0 GPA or better, and 26 student-athletes earned a 4.0. In addition, 10 of our programs earned at least a 3.0 average team GPA. We are so proud of the work our student-athletes are putting into the classroom and look forward to continued success in the spring.
Despite ongoing scheduling adjustments, both the men's and women's basketball teams are competing their way through the MAAC schedule. As a friendly reminder, while fans are still not permitted at the games, you can catch all of the action on ESPN3 or ESPN+.
We're excited to announce the date of our 2021 William J. Murray Peacock Athletics Golf Outing, so make sure you mark Monday, June 14, 2021 on your calendars and stay tuned for more information.
In addition, mark your calendar for the very first
Peacock Nation Day on Saturday, February 27. We are so excited about this special opportunity for you to make an even greater impact on Saint Peter's athletics. More details to come!
