JERSEY CITY, NJ - A men's golf athlete and a women's soccer player have been named Saint Peter's University Athletics Peacocks of the Month for October, as senior Jimmy Apostolico and senior Stephanie Radakovic have earned the second monthly Peacock award for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Apostolico had the best finish of his career last week at the LIU Intercollegiate Tournament. The senior golfer finished the two day tournament at +4 after 36 holes, tying him for fourth overall. He played consistent golf throughout, tallying four birdies and 22 pars. Back on October 11, Apostolico carded the best score by a Peacock at the Columbia Autumn Invitational, finishing +11 and tied for 42nd place. Coming to Saint Peter's from Sparta, New Jersey, Apostolico continues to put in solid performances for the Peacocks.

Radakovic finished the season on a tear for the Peacocks, scoring three goals over the course of the team's last two games. The senior midfielder scored a brace against Canisius in a 2-0 victory on October 23, as well as scoring the lone goal in the 1-0 win over Siena on October 27. Hailing from Lake Ronkonkoma, New York, Radakovic made 29 starts in 40 appearances at Saint Peter's. She was awarded Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career on October 25. She finishes her career with four goals and three assists.
