Run Baby Run Arena Grand Opening//Dedication
We started off the month with the Grand Opening and Dedication of the newly renovated Run Baby Run Arena. The arena is named after the famed 1967-68 Saint Peter's squad that captured the heart of the city with its upset win over Duke in the NIT Tournament. The remodeled gym includes new retractable bleachers, two video scoreboards, a full replacement of the hardwood court surface, updated branding and signage, a reimagined entryway to the facility, a new in-house speaker system and enhanced lighting. In conjunction with the grand opening, men's basketball hosted the NJCU Gothic Knights in the Battle of the Boulevard. The Peacocks won the exhibition contest 90-66.
2021-22 Peacocks Basketball
The 2021-22 Peacocks Basketball season is finally here! We are so excited to welcome in the upcoming season in the brand new arena. The Peacocks both started their regular seasons on the road and return to Run Baby Run Arena late November. The women will host Howard on the 21st and the men will host LIU on the 23rd. Tickets are available for purchase at the box office. Giving Tuesday
The Saint Peter's University Athletics community will once again join the Giving Tuesday movement on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Giving Tuesday is known as a global day of generosity and giving back. For Saint Peter's University, it represents a day in which alumni, parents, friends, faculty and staff come together to make a difference in the lives of our incredible students and student-athletes through financial investments.The continued support of alumni, family and friends continues to provide the opportunity for student-athletes to reach their goals in the classroom, in competition, in the community and in life.
