EDISON, NJ - Graduate guard Kendrea Williams has been named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Player of the Week for women's basketball for the second straight week.
Williams dropped a team high 24 points in the Peacocks only game this past week on December 22 against FDU in which they won 73-52. She shot 7-of-12 from the field, while shooting 2-of-4 from behind the arc. Williams, who leads the MAAC in free-throw percentage, shot 8-of-8 from the line. She was also very active on the defensive end, recording a career high six steals. Williams set a season high with four assists and also contributed two rebounds.
Appearing and starting in all eleven games, Williams is averaging 14.9 points per game, which is second on the team. She is 120 points away from becoming the 24th Peacock in history to reach 1,000 career points at Saint Peter's. Williams is sixth among active career scoring leaders in the NCAA, posting 2,037 career points.

The Peacocks are next in action this Thursday, as they host Quinnipiac at Run Baby Run Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
