JERSEY CITY, NJ - End of year awards continue to roll in for Saint Peter's men's basketball standout forward
KC Ndefo, with the junior being selected to the NABC Division I All-District 1 Second Team, announced by the NABC today.
Ndefo concluded his stellar junior campaign as the team leader in scoring, blocked shots, and steals. The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 13.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 3.6 blocks, and 1.4 steals per game while shooting a team-best 50 percent from the field. Ndefo ranked top-10 in the MAAC in four regular season categories, finishing first in blocks, sixth in points, seventh in steals, and ninth in rebounds. He remains as the nation's leader in blocked shots per game and total blocks with the NCAA regular season and conference postseasons all completed.
Ndefo is the first Peacock in a decade to be named to a NABC Division I team, following in the footsteps of Saint Peter's Hall of Famer Wesley Jenkins '11, who was also selected to the District 1 second team during his senior year in 2011. He is also one out of six MAAC players to make a NABC team in 2020-21.
