JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Seventeen Saint Peter's University first-year student-athletes were recognized during the university's Freshman Achievement Ceremony, which was held virtually on Monday afternoon.
Coordinated by the Center for Academic Success and Engagement, the event celebrated first-year students who have achieved a 3.5 grade-point average (GPA) or higher and completed 15+ credits during the Fall 2020 semester.
This year, 115 first-year students were honored in total across the student body, while 17 student-athletes were included in the mix. All students will be rewarded with certificates in acknowledgement of their success. The full list of award recipients can be found

Looking further at the student-athlete contingent that was honored on Monday, the 17 Peacocks combined for an average GPA of 3.74, and two student-athletes in that group posted a perfect 4.0 GPA.
