EDISON, NJ – Saint Peter's Collin Jensen has been named the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Male Student-Athlete of the Week.
Jensen recorded a hit in all five games for the Peacocks baseball team to open up the campaign. In his first at bat of the season, he went yard at FDU on February 23. He also recorded two runs, and two hits. In the series with Coppin State from February 25-27, he had five hits, two RBIs and scored one run.
A sophomore from Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, Jensen transferred to Saint Peter's this season from Northampton C.C. He leads the team in batting average (.438), hits (7), home runs (1), and total bases (11).
