Two School Records Broken at ECAC/IC4A Indoor Championships

BOSTON, M.A. – The Saint Peter's men's and women's track and field teams wrapped up their three-day 2022 ECAC/IC4A Indoor Championships on Sunday at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center in Boston. 
 

Highlights

• The first school record broken was by freshman Quincy Hendy in the 200 Meter Dash. He finished with a time of 21.69, which qualified him for the finals. In the finals, he finished 13th with a time of 21.92.

• The second school record was broken by the 4x400 relay team. Delano Gooden, Clardo Nestor, Michael Conover, and Isaiah Sanchez combined to take third place in the preliminaries with a time of 3:13.76. In the finals, the team of Delano Gooden, Quincy Hendy, Michael Conover, and Clardo Nestor took fifth place with a time of 3:15.70.

• Clardo Nestor's 1:03.06 in the 500 Meter preliminaries was the third fastest time of the day on Saturday. He moved onto the finals, finishing again in third place with a time of 1:02.27. This time now stands as his personal best, as well as the team best for Saint Peter's in the event on the season. 

• Ibrahim Seidou-Bakari grabbed a top-10 finish in the weight throw, capturing tenth place with a distance of 16.38m.
