Banks III, Drame Brothers, Edert and Lee all earn the honor

EDISON, N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has unveiled its 2021-22 Men's Basketball All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Wednesday. Five student-athletes from the Saint Peter's University men's basketball program were honored.

The five student-athletes honored with the award were all from the junior class as Daryl Banks III, Fousseyni Drame, Hassan Drame, Doug Edert and Matthew Lee were all honored by the MAAC.

All five honorees were selected to the team for the second time in their careers as they each earned the accolade in the 2020-21 season as well.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
