Baseball Lands Eight MAAC All-Academic Selections

EDISON, N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has unveiled its 2021-22 Baseball All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Monday. Eight student-athletes from the Saint Peter's University Baseball program were honored. 

Four seniors were named to the team, which include Anthony Abbatine, Michael Bonaccorso, Michael Dipede, and Ryan Wappaus. Two juniors, Christain Coombes and Sam Delcollo were also selected to the team to make six upperclassmen for the Peacocks to be honored. Robert Black III and Joey Vitiello were the lone underclassmen to be recognized.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
