BROOKVILLE, NY - The Saint Peter's University women's soccer team lost to Long Island University by a score of 1-0 on Thursday night.
Game Notes
- The Peacocks generated a great chance in the 38th minute, which came from freshman forward Alyssa Hackett. Her attempt was saved.
- Four minutes later, freshman forward Gianna Grassifulli had a shot on target, but her shot was saved as well. The score was tied 0-0 at the break.
- LIU came out of halftime and scored almost immediately in the 48th minute off of a corner kick.
- The Peacocks were unable to generate a chance on target the rest of the way, as the team dropped their third straight game to start the season.

- The Peacocks registered five shots. Grassifulli had two, while Hackett, graduate defender Brooke Boutchie, and graduate forward Mya Daniels each had one.
