Jersey City, N.J.- The Saint Peter's University baseball team named Jake Moss and AJ Gonzalez as new assistant coaches for the 2024 baseball season.
Moss and Gonzalez bring several years of coaching experience to Saint Peter's. Moss recently worked at Catholic University as a graduate assistant pitching coach, base running coach, and catching instructor. Prior to joining Catholic University's coaching staff, Moss served as the club baseball coach at his alma mater, Drexel University, in 2019. Moss played baseball at Drexel from 2013 to 2018. He received a bachelor's degree from Drexel in 2018.
Gonzalez comes to Saint Peter's after working as a junior varsity and assistant varsity baseball coach at Dominican University during the 2022-2023 academic year. As a collegiate baseball player, Gonzalez played for SUNY Ulster, Concordia College, and SUNY Oneonta. In addition to his coaching and playing career, Gonzalez has experience working as a director of baseball operations for the New York Silverbacks and Brewster Baseball Garage.
